Makes Two New Appointments
Grant Thornton UK LLP has made two new appointments to its
Government & Infrastructure Advisory (GIA) team.
Neil Rutledge, previously an infrastructure Director, has now
been promoted to Partner and Michael Posener, a former Vice
President in the infrastructure team at investment banking and
financial services firm, Macquarie, joins the GIA team as Associate
Director.
Neil Rutledge, who specialises in infrastructure, Private
Finance Initiatives (PFI) and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) has
over 14 years' experience working with both the public and private
sector. In his new role, Neil will continue to direct and oversee
the provision of public and private sector infrastructure services
and provide strategic advice on financial strategy and structuring,
risk assessments, bidding strategies, business valuations and
funding agreements. In addition, Neil will help further develop the
firm's strong offering in energy, environment and
sustainability.
Michael Posener brings to the firm over 10 years of experience
in infrastructure finance and has undertaken projects on a wide
range of industries, which include health, education, transport
leisure, defence, waste and telecommunications. He has also advised
both public and private clients throughout Europe and Australia.
Michael will focus his new role on financial due diligence for bank
debt and private equity, PFI / PPP, financial scheme structuring
and funding agreements.
Speaking on the appointment of Neil and Michael, Karl Eddy, Head
