Mark Cardiff (Partner)
Mark is a partner in our Assurance Practice where
he specialises in providing assurance and non-assurance services to
large public interest clients many with operations in the US and
throughout Europe. Prior to his current role Mark spent a number of
years within the Grant Thornton Transaction Services team where he
led a number of complex international transaction with a short
secondment to Grant Thornton Australia to assist in the formation
of their Corporate Finance Practice.
Mark has experience of reporting under a number of different
jurisdictions and guidelines under various countries GAAP's,
including US GAAP and IFRS. He has significant process and project
management experience leading multi-locational and multi-country
assignments. He is one of the partners leading the IFRS technical
team and is currently leading assignments reporting under US
GAAP.
Experience
- Mark has been with Grant Thornton for over 14 years in which
time he has specialised in large and international businesses. He
is a member of our professional practices group and advises a
number of multi-location consulting businesses
- During his career, Mark has been involved in due diligence,
flotations as well as business valuations and is therefore able to
advise on corporate transactions, as well as audit
requirements
