Perry Burton (Partner)

Perry works in our Audit and Business Assurance department, specialising in corporates, international groups and the social housing sector.

Experience

Perry joined us at Grant Thornton in 2007 following the merger with RSM Robson Rhodes, where he was a partner and sat on the Audit Board. He is the audit partner on 8 public companies and inn addition to working with these audit clients Perry has worked on the following recent transaction support assignments.

• Financial restructuring of Jarvis Plc including the £350m debt for equity swap and subsequent £50m rights issue;
• Assets review for £200m acquisition by a lessor;
• Due diligence review for a German global motor manufacturer on the acquisition of a Formula 1 engine manufacturer;
• Working with an Italian firm on a due diligence review for a support services company;
• £8m fund raising for AIM listed medical products company;
• A reverse takeover for an AIM listed banking software company.

Perry has recently completed the RSM International Business Adviser programme at the University of Chicago.
