Geoff Mesher (Partner)

Geoff leads the Forensic & Investigation Services team in the South West and Wales where he undertakes a variety of forensic accounting work.As well as Cardiff, Bristol and the South West of England, Geoff is also responsible for forensic work in Oxford, Reading and Southampton

Experience

Geoff trained as an accountant with a Big 4 firm and has carried out forensic accounting work since 1996. From 2005 Geoff lead a Big 4's forensic team in the South West and Wales before moving to Grant Thornton as a partner in 2010.

Geoff has written and lectured on forensic accounting issues and has lectured to fellow accountants, barristers, solicitors and corporates. He has given oral evidence on a number of occasions, including in Crown Court, County Court, Adjudications and Expert Determinations. Geoff has acted as a Expert Determiner on numerous occasions for sale and purchase disputes and valuation issues. Geoff authors Grant Thornton's Football Transfer Tracker publication.
